mike lanza criminal justice

Michael Lanza '22 has always wanted to work in law enforcement and after shadowing with the Berks County Sheriff's Department, an experience made possible through the Criminal Justice Program at 缅北强奸, his career plans are taking shape.

"This was a great opportunity and now I want to pursue it as the next part of my journey," Lanza says. On campus, he serves as president of the Criminal Justice Association. Most recently, he arranged for club members to volunteer at Safe Berks, an organization that supports victims of domestic violence. On two different evenings, they cooked and served dinner to the residents. "It shows you what some people go through and it makes you humble," he says. "Once students make it into the field they can use an experience like this to connect with the public."

Long term, Lanza hopes to work with the Pennsylvania State Police.
